Omaha Zoo

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Omaha Zoo. I guess it’s been a while since I’ve been to any zoo. This was a perfect time of year for going. It may also be because it’s Tuesday, but there are few visitors today. It also probably helped that the weather was raining off and on. What I’ve found from working at the Kansas City Zoo is that this kind of weather is the best to go in. The animals always seem to be a little more active and easier to spot when the weather is mild and a little wet. The only downside to the trip was that some of the warmer weather animals were still put away in winter housing.

My next destination will be somewhere in Nebraska. Not sure where yet, but that’s kind of the point of this trip.
