Colorado National Monument
This morning I stopped by the Fruita visitor center. Joanne was extremely helpful and took the time to show me maps and guides for several locations. If you ever travel near Fruita, stop in for a bit. They also have free coffee and a free book exchange inside. Take a book, leave a book.
I took her advice and traveled south to the Colorado National Monument Park. It's a great scenic drive with some unique rock features and views. I was able to see a small herd of long horned sheep but the pictures didn't turn out all that grand.
